SPORT ENGLAND SMALL GRANT
The small grants programme from Sport England is designed to increase participation in moderate intensity sports as well as reducing the drop off rates for 16-19 year olds. It includes equipment which is looking to save the club money which can be utilised by the club to improve further facilities.
There is a county specific scheme brought to you by the community foundation. On the site there is a section for applying for grants. The specific grant which we have had a lot of success with in the past is called the “Grassroots Grant”. They can provide £500-5000 of funding for community projects.
BUILD THE GAME
The Build the Game Scheme provides small grants for small facility projects. It replaces the former Facilities Grant up to £20,000 Scheme with one that will deliver genuine football development outcomes via a simpler and much quicker application process.
Please discuss your project with your County FA Development Manager before you fill in the form and again before you submit it to the Football Foundation. This is because the County FA will be required to fill in a Comments Form to support your application.
AWARDS FOR ALL
Another scheme is called "awards for all" this is a lottery funded grant for people looking to raise £300-£10,000. To apply for the grant you need to complete the application form and send it over to them via email and they will let you know if you are successful in 6 weeks. The link is provided below.
